Our Special Babies welcomes all family members affected by the loss of a baby to Stillbirth or Neonatal Death. We also welcome those who have suffered a late miscarriage or those who have had to make the heart breaking decision to end their baby's life for medical reasons.
The loss of a baby has a profound, devastating and lasting effect on any family and often those around you will not understand the magnitude of this loss. For this reason we wish to provide a caring and inclusive place, in which you can meet with others who share your experince, make friends who will understand, let off steam in a safe environement and connect with those who share your loss.
We believe that it is possible to support each other through the difficult times that such a loss provoke without prejudice or judgement and thus we put our faith in human nature and our users to uphold that ideal.
This site is primarily a portal to our support forums, where you can meet and chat with other families who have suffered the loss of a child. However, we do intend to provide links to more support resources in the future. In the mean time, we hope that our forums can do a little to ease your burden as you travel the long pathway of grief.
